The New Orleans Saints have acquired wide receiver Devaughn Vele from the Denver Broncos for a 2026 fourth-round pick and a 2027 seventh-round selection. "The more opportunities he gets, the better it's going to be," LaFleur said of the fourth-round pick from Auburn on Wednesday. Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jermaine Burton (undisclosed) is making progress in his recovery from an undisclosed injury and is considered day-to-day, head coach Zac Taylor said Wednesday. The NFL has issued San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Demarcus Robinson a three-game suspension to start the season, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports. The punishment comes as a result of a DUI charge Robinson received last November while he was a member of the Los Angeles Rams. After tallying 31 catches and setting career highs in yards (505) and touchdowns (seven) last season, Robinson joined the 49ers on a two-year, $9.5 million contract in free agency.
