Denzel Mims Unlikely To Play In Week 16
New York Jets wide receiver Denzel Mims (concussion) is unlikely to play in Week 16 on Thursday Night Football against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Mims suffered a head injury in the Week 15 loss to the Detroit Lions and is unlikely to pass through the league's concussion protocol on a short week in order to play on Thursday night. Before he was hurt on Sunday, the 25-year-old caught one of his two targets for 13 yards. Mims has been a complete non-factor in fantasy in 2022, catching only 11 of ... [Read More]
Denzel Mims Leads The Jets In Yards In Week 11
New York Jets wide receiver Denzel Mims led the Jets in receiving yards in a Week 11 loss to the New England Patriots. Mims caught two passes for a total of 35 yards. He was targeted a team-high six times in a game that quarterback Zach Wilson completed just nine passes. Mims made one catch for 34 yards and another for just one yard. It was about as good a performance as you could expect in a game where the Jets offense looked completely out of sorts. [Read More]
Denzel Mims Makes Two Catches In Week 8
New York Jets wide receiver Denzel Mims made two catches in a Week 8 loss to the New England Patriots. With his two catches, Mims gained 76 yards, including one enormous 63 yard gain. He ended up with three targets, but was on the field for most of the offensive snaps after Elijah Moore was benched early. Mims will be a dart-throw at best in an offense that may have tried to throw a lot in Week 8, but didn't do a great job at it. [Read More]
Denzel Mims Active For Season Debut
New York Jets wide receiver Denzel Mims is active heading into Week 7 against the Denver Broncos. After being a healthy scratch through the first six games, Mims will make his season debut in place of Elijah Moore (personal). Mims should play several snaps this week, but he's not worth rostering in fantasy football. [Read More]
Jeremy Ruckert, Denzel Mims Inactive Against Ravens
New York Jets rookie tight end Jeremy Ruckert and wide receiver Denzel Mims are healthy scratches for Week 1 of the regular season against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Ruckert, a third-round pick this year out of Ohio State, has a bright future, but he's currently buried on the tight end depth chart in New York behind newcomers C.J. Uzomah and Tyler Conklin. Conklin is slightly more attractive in fantasy to begin the season, but Uzomah's presence makes it hard to recommend Conklin as ... [Read More]
