The San Francisco 49ers signed free-agent wide receiver Tajae Sharpe to their practice squad on Monday, according to a source. The six-year veteran worked out for the 49ers last week and had 25 catches on 37 targets for 230 yards and no touchdowns in 15 games (seven starts) for the Atlanta Falcons last year. Free-agent wide receiver Tajae Sharpe agreed to a one-year contract with the Bears on Wednesday night. Sharpe, a 2016 fifth-round pick, began his career in Tennessee, where he spent his first three active seasons before landing in Minnesota and, most recently, Atlanta.
