Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season delivered drama, stunning upsets, and powerhouse performances that completely shook up the standings heading into the halfway mark.

From James Cook’s performance for Buffalo to Bo Nix’s four-touchdown explosion in Denver, we saw dominant wins and nail-biting finishes.

If you missed any of the action, don’t worry—it’s all here for you.

Los Angeles Chargers 37, Minnesota Vikings 10: The Chargers dominated the Vikings, with QB Justin Herbert completing 18-of-25 passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns. The defense was equally impressive, racking up five sacks and limiting the Vikings’ offense, which failed to find any rhythm against the staunch Chargers’ unit. Los Angeles controlled the game from start to finish, securing a decisive victory.

Miami Dolphins 34, Atlanta Falcons 10: The Dolphins snapped their losing streak as QB Tua Tagovailoa threw four touchdown passes, connecting with De’Von Achane and others, in a dominant home victory. Miami’s defense suffocated the Atlanta run game, holding Bijan Robinson in check and limiting the Falcons’ offense.

Baltimore Ravens 30, Chicago Bears 16: Baltimore’s offense, led by backup QB Tyler Huntley, controlled the game by executing six scoring drives to secure the win over Chicago. The Ravens’ defense, highlighted by LB Roquan Smith against his former team, kept the Bears’ offense largely in check throughout the contest.

Buffalo Bills 40, Carolina Panthers 9: RB James Cook put on a career-defining performance, rushing for 216 yards and two explosive touchdowns, as the Bills annihilated the Panthers. Josh Allen added two short scores. Carolina struggled to move the ball against a stout Buffalo defense, with only WR Tetairoa McMillan finding modest success.

New York Jets 39, Cincinnati Bengals 38: In a shocking upset, the Jets earned their first win on a last-minute trick play touchdown pass thrown by RB Breece Hall, who also ran for two scores. Cincinnati QB Joe Flacco led a strong offensive attack for most of the game, but the Bengals’ defense could not hold the lead in the fourth quarter.

Houston Texans 26, San Francisco 49ers 15: Houston’s offense, spearheaded by C.J. Stroud’s 318 passing yards and two touchdowns, managed to control the line of scrimmage against the 49ers’ defense. Rookie RB Woody Marks added over 100 scrimmage yards to help maintain control. San Francisco’s Mac Jones struggled, despite a late connection with TE George Kittle.

New England Patriots 32, Cleveland Browns 13: The Patriots secured their fifth consecutive win largely thanks to a strong defensive and special teams effort that propelled them past the Browns. QB Drake Maye managed the game well, while Cleveland’s offense struggled to capitalize, even as DE Myles Garrett tallied a historic five sacks.

Philadelphia Eagles 38, New York Giants 20: Philadelphia rolled over the Giants as RB Saquon Barkley put up 150 rushing yards, dominating the ground game for the Eagles. The offense executed efficiently, posting a big lead that New York could not overcome. The Giants’ passing game managed some production, but turnovers proved costly.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23, New Orleans Saints 3: Tampa Bay’s defense delivered a dominant performance, forcing four turnovers—including a pick-six—to rout the rival Saints. The Buccaneers’ offense was inconsistent, with only a short TD run from Sean Tucker and three 50+ yard field goals from Chase McLaughlin providing points.

Denver Broncos 44, Dallas Cowboys 24: Denver steamrolled Dallas in a statement victory, powered by rookie QB Bo Nix, who accounted for four touchdowns, and RB J.K. Dobbins’ 111 rushing yards. Dallas’s defense was overwhelmed, forcing Dak Prescott to take risks that resulted in turnovers, despite CeeDee Lamb’s efforts.

Indianapolis Colts 38, Tennessee Titans 14: The Colts continued their dominant season, moving to 7-1 behind another MVP-caliber performance from RB Jonathan Taylor, who scored three total touchdowns and rushed for 153 yards. QB Daniel Jones also remained hot, leading the high-powered attack that overpowered the Titans’ defense.

Green Bay Packers 35, Pittsburgh Steelers 25: Green Bay’s QB Jordan Love outdueled Aaron Rodgers in his return to Pittsburgh, throwing for 360 yards and three touchdowns, including two to TE Tucker Kraft. The Packers pulled away with 21 unanswered points in the second half, solidifying their status as NFC contenders.

Kansas City Chiefs 28, Washington Commanders 7: Despite a slow start and two early interceptions, QB Patrick Mahomes rallied to throw for 299 yards and three touchdowns, securing the Monday Night Football win. Kareem Hunt scored twice, while the Washington offense struggled to sustain drives, relying mainly on a big catch from WR Terry McLaurin for their only points.
