Jake Bates a Must-Start Kicker in Week 7
Detroit Lions kicker Jake Bates has benefited from his team's high-powered offense through the first six weeks of the season, as Bates has both attempted and made the most extra-point tries (24) in the NFL. The 26-year-old has also knocked in seven of nine field goal attempts. The Lions will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7 in what looks on paper like a high-scoring affair. Jerry Jeudy, Rashid Shaheed, Marquise Brown: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 7
Cleveland Browns WR Jerry Jeudy, New Orleans Saints wideout Rashid Shaheed, and Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown have all had pretty solid games this season and are worth starting consideration for fantasy lineups in Week 7.That's actually a lie. Well, part of it is. Shaheed and Brown have had good games, but Jeudy has been a massive disappointment this year. We'll get into that later, as I don't want to spoil my start or sit decision for him more than I already have. The sections ... [More...]

Ka'imi Fairbairn Remains a Top-10 Kicker on Monday
Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn has made 11 of his 13 field-goal attempts this season and all nine of his extra-point attempts. He and the Texans return from their bye week to face the Seahawks on Monday night, so he'll be kicking outside in the weather. Both of his misses this year have come from over 50 yards out, but he has also converted five kicks of 50+ yards. In week 5, he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two field goals from over 50 yards and made all five of his extra points as the ... [More...]
Kameron Johnson Could Offer Flex Value
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Kameron Johnson came out of nowhere and had a solid game versus the San Francisco 49ers last week. Johnson hauled in all four of his targets for 64 yards and a touchdown in the win. Normally, Johnson is a distant option on the depth chart, but the Bucs are extremely banged up right now. They could be without Mike Evans (hamstring) and Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) for Monday's game against the Detroit Lions. If they sit, Johnson, Sterling Shepard, and Tez ... [More...]

Marquez Valdes-Scantling Released by the 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers released wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling (calf) on Saturday. The veteran wideout signed with the Niners in August. However, he wasn't relevant from a fantasy standpoint, catching only four of his eight targets for 22 yards in five appearances before being placed on the Injured Reserve list because of a calf injury. It's unknown what the future holds for MVS, considering he's closing in on a decade of service in the National Football League. Still, even if he signs... [More...]
