Browns Restructure Deshaun Watson's Deal, Clear $35.8 Million In Cap Space
The Cleveland Browns converted $44.75 million of quarterback Deshaun Watson's (Achilles) 2025 salary into a signing bonus, creating $35.8 million of salary cap space. The team has already reworked Watson's contract in the past but is continuing to make moves to make it less of a financial burden in the future. Watson signed a five-year, $230 million contract with Cleveland ahead of the 2022 campaign, but it's been a disastrous tenure for the former Houston Texans first-round pick. Watson has ... Marquise Brown Impresses In Week 16 Win
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown caught five passes for 45 yards on eight targets in the 27-19 win over the Houston Texans. Brown made his 2024 debut with the Chiefs in Week 16 and did not disappoint. The 27-year-old hauled in his first catch as a Chief on a fourth-down conversion to continue the drive. Brown and Patrick Mahomes also connected on a 20-yard pass for his longest reception of the game. Brown will build on that chemistry next week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, ... [Read More]
Texans "Absolutely Not" Considering Changing Play-Callers

Stroud has regressed in his sophomore season under Slowik, and the Texans offense in general has looked sluggish in recent weeks. Houston has just one win all year against team with a winning record and will be fighting for a postseason spot down the ... [Read More]
Rolling Texans D/ST Has Another Strong Matchup In Week 12
Coming off back-to-back excellent games, the Houston Texans defense/special teams has a chance for another big performance with a home date against the bottom-tier offense of the Tennessee Titans in Week 12. Houston hasn't allowed more than 24 points since Week 3, and in their past two games, they have forced seven turnovers and scored a touchdown. Now comes a Titans offense that ranks at or near the bottom of the NFL in passing first downs (31st), interceptions (tied for 32nd), net yards per ... [Read More]
Demario Douglas Highly Productive With New QB In Week 6
New England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas caught six of nine targets for 92 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's Week 6 loss to the Houston Texans. The touchdown reception was the first of Douglas' career and came on a fourth-quarter catch-and-run thrown to him by rookie quarterback Drake Maye. While Douglas' large role within the Patriots' offense isn't necessarily anything new, it's very promising to see him lead the unit in targets, catches, and receiving yards even after the ...
