Los Angeles Chargers running back Larry Rountree III has been signed to the active roster ahead of Sunday's matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. The former sixth-round pick didn't have much success with the team last season. He rushed 36 times for 87 yards with one touchdown in 12 games with the Chargers last season. The Chargers recently waived running back Larry Rountree III. However, the team is bringing him back on a practice squad deal. The 23-year-old was taken in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Yet, he finished his rookie campaign with only 87 yards and a touchdown off 36 touches. There is a chance Rountree will get another shot with the big club this season.
