The Jacksonville Jaguars waived kicker Matthew Wright on Wednesday. It's a bit of a surprise, as Wright served as the starting kicker last year for Jacksonville, going 21-for-24 on his field-goal attempts and 13-for-15 on extra points in 14 games. The Jaguars have kickers Ryan Santoso and Andrew Mevis currently on their roster. Wright replaced Josh Lambo after he was released by the team on Oct. 19.
