Ty Johnson Sees Just Four Carries In Week 6 Victory
Buffalo Bills running back Ty Johnson saw just four carries for 34 yards in their victory over the New York Jets. Johnson did not see a target in the passing game. After serving as the No.2 option to James Cook through the opening weeks of the campaign, Johnson ceded those duties to rookie Ray Davis on Monday evening. Davis logged an impressive 20 carries with James Cook (toe) sitting out. Davis also added three receptions for 55 yards in the passing game. Fantasy managers should not hold ... [Read More]
Ty Johnson Removed From Injury Report
Buffalo Bills running back Ty Johnson (knee) returned to full practice on Wednesday following limited sessions on Monday and Tuesday with a knee injury. The 26-year-old was banged up in the Week 1 win over the Arizona Cardinals, but he is good to go for Thursday Night against the Miami Dolphins in Week 2. Johnson saw two carries for seven yards and drew one target in the season-opener, so he's not on the fantasy football radar in traditional leagues unless James Cook or Ray Davis have to miss... Ty Johnson Plays A Passing Game Role In Week 13
New York Jets running back Ty Johnson had a role in the passing game almost exclusively in a Week 13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He carried the ball just once, gaining three yards. He did see seven targets in the passing game though, catching six of them for 38 yards. Johnson should continue to play a small support role once Michael Carter (ankle) returns, which could be as soon as Week 14 against the Buffalo Bills. [Read More]
Ty Johnson Scores A Touchdown In Week 12
New York Jets running back Ty Johnson scored his first touchdown of the season in a Week 12 win over the Chicago Bears. Johnson ran the ball five times for 62 yards and a score and also added one catch for 16 more yards. He was forced into a larger role in this game after James Robinson was a healthy scratch and Michael Carter (ankle) had to leave the game early due to an injury. Undrafted rookie Zonovan Knight and Johnson made up the Jets backfield for most of the game, and both played ... [Read More]
Ty Johnson Ends Up With Only Two Touches In Week 8
New York Jets running back Ty Johnson ended up with only two touches in a Week 8 loss to the New England Patriots. With Breece Hall (knee) out for the year and the newly acquired James Robinson not expected to be ready for a full workload, there was some thought that Johnson could end up with a handful of touches and perhaps some fantasy relevance. None of that came to be though, as he ended up running the ball twice for six yards and missed both of his targets in the passing game. With ... [Read More]
