Titans Release Josh Gordon
The Tennessee Titans released wide receiver Josh Gordon from their practice squad on Monday, according to a source. Gordon played in two games for the Titans and didn't record any stats. He'll now look for work elsewhere, but it's highly unlikely at this point that the 31-year-old pass-catcher will make any noise on another team's active roster in 2022. Gordon played four percent of the offensive snaps for the Titans in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills. In 12 games (seven starts) for the Kansas... [Read More]
Josh Gordon Promoted To Active Roster
The Tennessee Titans are elevating wide receiver Josh Gordon from the practice squad to the active roster for Monday night's game against the Buffalo Bills, according to his agent, Zac Hiller. "Josh just needs opportunities to prove that he's still the incredible player and talent he's always been," Hiller said. It could be an early sign that rookie receiver Kyle Philips (shoulder) won't be able to play on Monday night. Even if that's the case, there's no guarantee that Gordon will even see ... [Read More]
Titans Sign Josh Gordon To The Practice Squad
The Tennessee Titans signed former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Josh Gordon to their practice squad on Thursday, according to his agent. Gordon was cut by the Chiefs on Tuesday but will quickly land on his feet in Tennessee. The 31-year-old led the NFL with 1,646 receiving yards in just his second NFL season in 2013 with the Cleveland Browns, but suspensions and off-the-field issues derailed his career shortly after that. In 12 games (seven starts) for the Chiefs last year, he had just five ... [Read More]
Josh Gordon Leaves With Trainer
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Josh Gordon left the team's mandatory minicamp practice early on Wednesday with a trainer due to an undisclosed injury. We'll pass along any updates once we know the nature of Gordon's injury and whether it's anything to be concerned about. The 31-year-old didn't have much of a role in KC's offense last year, catching only five of 14 targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in 12 games (seven starts). He could have more of a role in 2022 with Tyreek Hill now in ... [Read More]
Josh Gordon Looking Better
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Josh Gordon showed increased speed and caught a 50-yard touchdown from quarterback Patrick Mahomes in practice on Thursday. Gordon struggled for much of the year in 2021 after joining the team in late September, and he had just five catches for 32 yards and a touchdown in 12 games. He was inactive during the postseason. "He's running better and catching better (than last year)," head coach Andy Reid said. There could be more opportunity in the Chiefs offense ... [Read More]
