CeeDee Lamb lit the world on fire in Week 8 while the Saints started a new Ice Age with their offensive performance. Jalen Hurts was red hot with his legs and Ken Walker was not. Jameis Winston breathed new life into the Browns while Jayden Daniels’ Hail Mary sucked it out of the Bears.

Rams 30, Vikings 20: The Vikings are starting to slide after that 5-0 start to the season as the Rams bested them in this one. Matthew Stafford tossed 4 touchdowns and amassed 279 yards. Kyren Williams rushed for 97 and caught 5 balls for 19 yards and a score. Puka Nacua caught 7 passes for 106 yards and Cooper Kupp hauled in 5 passes for 51 yards and a score. Demarcus Robinson added 2 scores. Sam Darnold threw for 240 and 2 scores, one to Josh Oliver. Aaron Jones rushed for 58 yards. Justin Jefferson caught 8 balls for 115 yards.

Eagles 37, Bengals 17: The Eagles found some serious signs of life in a rout of the Bengals. Jalen Hurts threw for 236 yards and a touchdown and also rushed for 37 yards and 3 scores. Saquon Barkley rushed for 108 yards. DeVonta Smith caught 6 balls for 85 yards and a touchdown. A.J. Brown added 5 catches for 84 yards. Joe Burrow threw for 234 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Chase Brown rushed for just 32 yards but added a score. Mike Gesicki, of all people, led the team with 73 yards on 7 receptions. Ja’Marr Chase caught 9 balls for 54 yards and a score.

Browns 29, Ravens 24: The Browns found a serious gold nugget up their backside in a home victory over the Ravens. Jameis Winston threw for 334 yards and 3 touchdowns as the new starting quarterback. Nick Chubb rushed for just 52 yards. Cedric Tillman caught 7 passes for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns. Elijah Moore caught 8 balls for 85 yards. David Njoku added 5 catches for 61 yards and a score. Lamar Jackson threw for 289 yards and 2 touchdowns and rushed for 46 more yards. Derrick Henry rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown. Zay Flowers caught 7 balls for 115 yards. Nelson Agholor and Mark Andrews each added touchdown receptions. 

Lions 52, Titans 14: The Lions continue to roll with a dominating victory over the Titans. Jared Goff threw for just 85 yards and 3 touchdowns. Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown. David Montgomery threw for a score and rushed for 33 yards and a score. Sam LaPorta caught 6 balls for 48 yards and a touchdown. Some dudes named Kalif Raymond and Brock Wright caught touchdowns, proving that if you have a good offense even marginal players can have success. Amon-Ra St. Brown — remember him? — added a touchdown on just 2 catches. Mason Rudolph did Mason Rudolph things, throwing for 266 and a touchdown, but also tossing 2 picks. He added a rushing touchdown. Tony Pollard rushed for 94 yards. Calvin Ridley had a whopping 10 catches for 143 yards. Nick Westbrook-I-don’t-care-what-the-rest-of-your-name-is caught 2 passes for 39 yards and a touchdown. 

Cardinals 28, Dolphins 27: With the return of Tua, the Dolphins found a little life on offense again, but the Cardinals edged them by one. Kyler Murray threw for 307 yards and 2 touchdowns. James Conner rushed for 53 yards and a score. Trey McBride caught 9 balls for 124 yards. Marvin Harrison Jr. added 6 catches for 111 yards and a touchdown. Michael Wilson caught 5 balls for 31 yards and a touchdown. Tua Tagovailoa tossed for 234 yards and a touchdown. De’Von Achane rushed for 97 yards and caught 6 balls for 50 yards and a touchdown. Raheem Mostert rushed for 19 yards and 2 touchdowns. Tyreek Hill caught 6 balls for 72 yards and Jaylen Waddle added 4 receptions for 45 yards.

Patriots 25, Jets 22: The Patriots bested the Jets in an utter and monumental collapse for the New Jersey gang. Jacoby Brissett had 132 yards while Drake Maye finished with 23 and a rushing touchdown. Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 48 yards and 2 touchdowns. Nobody did anything of consequence in the passing game for the lowly Patriots. Aaron Rodgers threw for 233 yards and 2 touchdowns. Breece Hall rushed for 80 yards and Braelon Allen added 32 and a touchdown. Garrett Wilson caught 5 balls for 113 yards. Davante Adams caught 4 passes for 54 yards. Tyler Conklin added a touchdown. 

Falcons 31, Buccaneers 26: The Falcons won a crucial division victory against the Buccaneers. Kirk Cousins finished with 276 yards and 4 touchdowns. Bijan Robinson rushed for 63 yards while adding 7 receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown. Kyle Pitts — yes, that guy — caught 4 balls for 91 yards and 2 scores. Darnell Mooney caught 4 balls for 86 yards and a touchdown. Baker Mayfield had 330 yards, 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Bucky Irving rushed for 44 yards and added 40 more through the air. Cade Otton caught 9 balls for 81 yards and 2 touchdowns. Rachaad White had 5 receptions for 38 yards and a score.

Packers 30, Jaguars 27: The Packers had a little more trouble than expected against a reeling Jaguars squad. Jordan Love had just 196 passing yards and an interception before suffering an injury. Josh Jacobs rushed for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns. Tucker Kraft caught 3 balls for 78 yards and a touchdown. Romeo Doubs caught 3 balls for 72 yards. Jayden Reed added 2 receptions for 55 yards. Trevor Lawrence threw for 308 yards and 2 touchdowns and added one on the ground. Tank Bigsby rushed for 78 yards. Brian Thomas Jr. caught 3 balls for 60 yards and a score. Christian Kirk caught 2 balls for 59 yards and then broke in half. Evan Engram had 4 catches for 36 yards and a touchdown.

Texans 23, Colts 20: In a tight AFC South battle, the Texans came out on top. C.J. Stroud threw for 285 yards and a touchdown. Joe Mixon rushed for 102 yards and a score and also caught 4 balls for 32. Stefon Diggs caught 5 balls for 81 yards. Dalton Schultz caught 4 passes for 52 yards. Tank Dell caught 4 balls for 35 yards and a score. Anthony Richardson threw for 175 yards, one touchdown and an interception and rushed for 45 more yards. Then took himself out because he’s bad. And tired, apparently. Jonathan Taylor rushed for 105 yards. Josh Downs caught 4 balls for 109 yards and a score. Nobody else did anything of significance in the passing game.

Chargers 26, Saints 6: The Saints are in a world of hurt since starting the season so hot offensively. Since scoring 91 points in their 2-game win streak to start the season, the Saints have now dropped six in a row. Justin Herbert threw for 279 yards and 2 touchdowns while rushing for 49 yards. J.K. Dobbins rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown. Ladd McConkey caught 6 balls for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns. Spencer Rattler threw for 156 yards while Jake Haener threw for 122. Alvin Kamara rushed for just 67 yards while adding 6 catches for 55 yards. Chris Olave caught 8 balls for 107 yards.

Bills 31, Seahawks 10: The Bills continued to cook with a victory over the Seahawks. Josh Allen threw for 283 yards and 2 touchdowns while adding 25 on the ground. James Cook rushed for 111 yards and 2 scores. Khalil Shakir caught 9 balls for 107 yards. Keon Coleman added 5 catches for 70 yards and a score. Dalton Kincaid caught 4 balls for 31 yards and a touchdown. Geno Smith threw for 212 yards and an interception while also leading the team with a whopping 16 yards on the ground. Ken Walker had just 12 yards on the ground and caught 4 balls for 33 yards in the passing game. Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught 6 balls for 69 yards.

Broncos 28, Panthers 14: The Broncos started a little slow but then picked things up in the second quarter on their way to pounding the Panthers. Bo Nix threw for 284 yards and 3 touchdowns in the victory. He also rushed for a score. Jaleel McLaughlin rushed for 47 yards and Javonte Williams added 44. Courtland Sutton had a bounceback game with 8 catches for 100 yards. Adam Trautman caught 4 balls for 85 yards and a score. Bryce Young threw for 224 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 picks in his return to the lineup. Chuba Hubbard rushed for 56 yards. Jalen Coker — what? — caught 4 balls for 78 yards and a touchdown. David Moore caught 4 passes for 39 yards. Miles Sanders added 7 receptions for 38 yards and Xavier Legette caught 4 passes for 34 yards and a touchdown. 

Chiefs 27, Raiders 20: The Chiefs outlasted the Raiders in a closer than expected division battle. Patrick Mahomes threw for 262 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception. Kareem Hunt rushed for 59 yards and a score. Travis Kelce caught 10 balls for 90 yards and a touchdown. Xavier Worthy caught 4 balls for 37 yards and a touchdown. Gardner Minshew threw for 209 yards and 2 scores in the loss. Alexander Mattison rushed for — are you ready for this? — 15 yards on 14 carries. Woof. Brock Bowers led the team with 5 receptions for 58 yards. Jakobi Meyers added 52 yards and a touchdown on 6 receptions. Mattison at least salvaged his day with 5 receptions for 29 yards. Something called a DJ Turner caught a touchdown pass.

Commanders 18, Bears 15: A Hail Mary from Jayden Daniels spoiled Caleb Williams’ comeback win and gave Daniels the far superior day. Daniels threw for 326 yards — 52 on that Hail Mary — and a touchdown while rushing for 52 more. Brian Robinson Jr. rushed for 65 yards. Terry McLaurin caught 5 balls for 125 yards. Zach Ertz caught 7 balls for 77 yards. Noah Brown had 3 catches for 73 yards and caught that Hail Mary — which saved his day and made him fantasy relevant. Caleb Williams threw for 131 yards and rushed for 47 more. D’Andre Swift rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown. Rome Odunze caught 3 balls for 41 yards and Keenan Allen caught 2 passes for 39 yards.

49ers 30, Cowboys 24: Is Mike McCarthy fired yet? Fat Boy’s team continued to languish in a loss to the hobbled Niners. Brock Purdy threw for 260 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 56 yards and another score. Isaac Guerendo — still not Christian McCaffrey — rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown. George Kittle caught 6 balls for 128 yards and a score. Deebo Samuel added 4 catches for 71 yards. Ricky Pearsall caught 4 passes for 38 yards and also had a 39-yard rush. Dak Prescott threw for 243 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 34 yards and a score. CeeDee Lamb caught an eye-popping 13 catches for 146 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jalen Tolbert caught 3 passes for 44 yards. Jake Ferguson added 6 catches for 23 yards.

Steelers 26, Giants 18: The Steelers bested the Giants to move to an impressive 6-2. Russell Wilson threw for 278 yards and a touchdown. Najee Harris rushed for 114 yards. George Pickens caught 4 balls for 74 yards. Van Jefferson added 4 catches for 62 yards. Calvin Austin — sigh — caught 3 balls for 54 yards and a touchdown. Daniel Jones had 264 yards and an interception. Tyrone Tracy Jr. rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown. Darius Slayton caught 4 balls for 108 yards and Malik Nabers caught 7 passes for 71 yards.
