Kalif Raymond Injures Hamstring On Sunday
Detroit Lions wide receiver Kalif Raymond (hamstring) exited Sunday's blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He had only two catches for 20 yards before tweaking his hamstring. However, according to Lions' beat reporter Kyle Meinke, the injury is "nothing serious." Detroit's next matchup will be on Monday night in Week 8, so Raymond appears to have a shot to play. But considering he has only one touchdown this season, his health won't be a huge cause of concern for fantasy managers. [Read More]
Lions Special Teams Scores Touchdown In Win
The Detroit Lions defense and special teams played well in Week 15, allowing just 17 total points and scoring a touchdown on a punt return by wide receiver Kalif Raymond. Fantasy managers who decided to start the Lions D/ST after finding out Zach Wilson would start for New York were rewarded. However, special teams touchdowns are far from sticky and predictive, so the Lions defense should remain off the fantasy radar. [Read More]
Kalif Raymond Active For Week 14
Detroit Lions wide receiver Kalif Raymond (illness) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. He had been listed as questionable. Raymond has amassed 32 catches for 382 yards this season. Although he's a threat in the passing game, he is currently buried behind Amon-Ra St. Brown, DJ Chark, Josh Reynolds, and Jameson Williams on the depth chart. Leave Raymond on fantasy waivers for the time being. [Read More]
Kalif Raymond Posts 76 Yards In Loss
Detroit Lions wide receiver Kalif Raymond caught three of his four targets for 76 yards in the loss to the Miami Dolphins. He has outproduced Josh Reynolds in a couple of games this season, so he is very much on the fantasy radar in deep leagues. This Lions' offense looks good again with everyone getting healthy, so Raymond is a nice deep league pickup and has value until Jameson Williams (knee) and DJ Chark (ankle) come off of injured reserve. Kalif Raymond Leads Lions In Receiving
Detroit Lions wide receiver Kalif Raymond caught five of his six targets for 75 yards in the 24-6 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. It was a nice fantasy performance considering the Lions failed to score a touchdown for the second straight game. Amon-Ra St. Brown (concussion) was knocked out of the game early, so Raymond operated as Jared Goff's No. 1 target. However, when St. Brown, DJ Chark (ankle), and Jameson Williams (knee) join the lineup, Raymond likely won't see much playing time. [Read More]
